Know, before creation, there was only the Most High,
A light filling all,
And there was no free, unfilled space –
Only infinite, even light flooded everything.
And when He decided to create worlds and the creatures that inhabit them,
Thus revealing His perfection,
Which was the reason for the creation of worlds,
He contracted Himself at His central point –
And the light compressed and withdrew,
Leaving a free, empty space.
And the compression of light was uniform around the central point,
So that the empty place took the form of a circle,
Because such was the contraction of light.
And so after this compression
In the center of the space filled with light
A round void formed, only then
Did a place appear where creations and beings could exist.
And then a straight ray stretched from the infinite light,
From above downwards, it descended into that empty space.
The infinite light extended, descending along the ray, downwards,
And in that empty space, He created all the perfect worlds.
Before these worlds was the Infinite One,
In His perfection so beautiful,
That no creature has the power to comprehend His perfection –
For the created mind cannot reach Him.
For He has no place, no boundary, and no time.
And the light descended as a ray
To the worlds located in the black, empty space.
And each circle from each world, and those close to the light, are important,
Until we find our world of matter at the central point,
Within all the circles, in the center of the gaping void.
And so distant from the Infinite One – further than all the worlds,
And therefore so utterly low materially –
For it is within all the circles –
At the very center of the gaping void.
